If you want to connect it to CC1/CC2 for ESD protection, it's okay. The D1 and D2 pin just provide ESD protection, will not influence CC logic.

How did you make your judgment, D+D- is not the same as the CC pin speed, and Vrwm is not the same?

1. USB2.0 high speed bit rate is 480Mbps, USB C PD bit rate is 300Kbps. From signal integration, it can be used for CC pins.
2. From operation voltage level perspective, we can see the Vrwm is higher than CC operation voltage level, and no OVP protection on D1 and D2 pin.
From above two point, I think this part can be used for CC1 and CC2 IEC ESD protection.
