DS90UH941AS-Q1: Single DSI - Dual Link mode

Part Number: DS90UH941AS-Q1

Hi team,

I have a question about the register related to Port1 when I configure the device as Single DSI input, Dual FPD-Link output.

It is described that BCC is only available for primary (Port 0?) in this configuration, but in that case does registers related to Port 1 need to be care or

just ignore?

For example, CRC_ERROR_P1_7:0 (back channel CRC error counter) is available for Port 1 in this configuration?

regards,

  • Hello Shinji,

yes, if you are using Dual-link mode, Bidirectional Control Channel operation is available only on the primary link. Which means if you chose Channel0 or Channel1 to be your primary link then you should care only about the back channel registers for the selected channel.
