LMH0346: Acquisition time and latency

Hello,

1. An acquisition time of 15 ms is specified in the data sheet. That's long. Is this time the same in any rate select mode (auto-rate or fixed rate)?

2.Can you provide information on the latency times of the LMH0346?

    Hi Iris,

    1). This is for auto rate selection. If it is a fixed rate then lock time is much faster - in order of 3-4ms.

    2). Latency is 1.5UI. One UI is the bit time. FOr example, at 2.97G data rate, one UI is about 337ps. So the delay is 1.5 X 337 ~ 500ps.
