Hi,
Customer has adopted AM26C32IPWR but needs to replace due to availability. They are considering AM26LS32ACPWR as a replacement product.
What are the differences between AM26C32IPWR and AM26LS32ACPWR, and what are the concerns when replacing them?
Thanks,
Astro
Hi Astro,
The high level differences are shown below:
The AM26LS32AC has a lower operating temperature, consumes a max of 70mA (compared to the 15mA) for ICC, but has a higher abs max for differential bus inputs.
These are the largest differences for operation between the parts. So there is risk with the largest being the lower temperature range as <0C for the operation is out of spec for the "AC" device.
Please let me know if there are any other questions!
Best,
Parker Dodson
