How much the maximum gain of the USB2.0 signal of TUSB 212? We want to make a USB2.0 10m extension cable, and plan to use one before and after the input and output respectively to support two-way data transmission. We want to know how many dB we need to control the loss of our D+/D- cable.

As for dB loss control, there are multiple different factors that come into play, but here are general levels levels determined by using the TUSB216-Q1:

AC Boost at 240MHz (typ)
Boost 0: 3.0 dB
Boost 1: 3.5 dB
Boost 2: 4.7 dB
Boost 3: 5.2 dB
