Hey Fenqiang,
It's currently a US holiday. One of our engineers will provide feedback tomorrow.
Thanks,
Rami
Hello Fenqiang,
The Resistor R0 will not affect the overall function of this circuit and will only affect the brightness of the diode. This is because the input stage at IP0(pin3) if used in a low-to-high transition the input signal will pass three internal signal checks and the new ouput signal will be available at the parallel input of the shift register, waiting to be latched in. At the same time this signal switches the output of the current limiter from ground to the RE-output to turn on the LED. Depeding on the value of your resistor will determine the brightness of your led.
Thanks and Regards,
Kameron
