Hi team,

could you help to answer the following questions ? thanks 

1.When the CPU sends data to TIC10024-Q1, does the last bit need to be calculated by the CPU or the TIC10024-Q1 internal hardware implementation?


2.When TIC10024-Q1 backpasses data to the CPU, is the last bit the TIC10024-Q1 internal hardware implementation、

    Hi Hazel,

    The CPU is responsible for calculating and sending the parity bit that is received on the TIC10024-Q1 SI pin which is the pin used by the CPU to send data to the TIC10024-Q1 device. 

    The TIC10024-Q1 is responsible for calculating and sending the parity bit that is sent out of the TIC10024-Q1 SO pin which is the pin used by the TIC10024-Q1 to send data back to the CPU.

    So, essentially both devices are responsible for calculating and sending their respective parity bits for the data they are sending to the other device.
