TCAN1043G-Q1: TCAN1043G fail

Hi Expert,

My customer using 2 TCAN1043GDRQ1 in their platform. 

When they apply the device in the automotive, one of TCAN1043G is failed.

However, when they apply the failed device in Lab, the device can work in the normal operation.

Would you mind helping me to identify the issue?

    Hi Imelda,

    Do you have any more information on the nature of the failure reported for the device? If it is a communication failure, can data not be sent? Can data be received? Does the failed device prevent communication between non-failed nodes? 

    It would be good to ask the customer for an example or waveform of the failure by showing the behavior of the CAN and RXD pins when the system is driving data on the TXD pin. 

    I noticed that the schematic only shows the power and digital passives for the transceiver. Is the schematic for the components on the CAN bus available? This would include any termination resistors, CMC, bus capacitors, etc.
