TCA8418: Pull the INT and RESET pins to 3.3V but power the chip from 1.8V

Hi,

From the datasheet, it seems the INT and RESET pins can be pull high to 3.6V even the chip is powered from 1.8V supply. Anyone can confirm it? And if the chip can survival when INT and RESET are pulled up to supply which comes before the chip's VCC?

All this is allowed; see [FAQ] Can the input voltage (Vi) to my logic device be higher than the supply voltage (Vcc)?

Hello Diverger,

In addition to Clemens' response, please also see section 10 of the datasheet for the proper power supply ramp times (VCC needs to be ramped up faster than 100ms maximum).
