DP83630: PTP T2 read error

Hi,

We are doing the pressure test of DP83630’s PTP and see an issue.

DP83630 works as slave, it receives the sync message and record the T2.

By set PTP_CTL bit4 （load m clock），and read PTP_TDR, we can get the time. 

Got a wrong T2 time here.

The sync message is sent per 1second. PTP_TDR acquires the time stamp per 10ms

Please help advise any to check. Thanks.

    Hi Zach,

    Want to preface this saying that this device has limited support to only datasheet and general PHY intuition.

    How does customer know they are reading the correct time? It appears that the sync message is being sent every 1s, but they are trying to readjust time every 10ms? What if they acquire the timestamp every second when the sync message is sent out?
