SN75DP139: SN75DP139 reference design

For a customer I'm debuging a cicuit with a SN75DP139 converting DP to HDMI.

As the converter is connected by a standard DP-cable to the computer the application is a little different to a standard DP/HDMI adapter that is directly connected to the computer:
- the 3.3V from the computer are not available and made locally in the adapter
- the DP-Lanes are crossed out in the cable and must be reordered on the adapter.

A good starting point would be a reference design for the SN75DP139.

I would also be glad to get hints for the described application, i.E. with local supply of the SN75DP139 and how to handle the signaling voltage on CONFIG1 to signal the Computer to switch to DP++/HDMI signaling.

SN75DP139 is not an active converter from DP to HDMI. SN75DP139 does not support converting DP to HDMI.
SN75DP139 is a level shifter from DP++ to TMDS(HDMI1.4b)

DP++ is DisplayPort dual mode. DP++ uses HDMI protocol encoding or TDMS.

Hi Zach,

Thank you for your answer. I was not precise - you are right, the SN75DP139 is a level shifter.
In the meantime I managed to get an image. One thing not working yet is the I2C/DDC communication. Therefore it would be helpful to get the reference design.
