BQ24392: USB signal connection

Hi, 

1) In BQ24392 datasheet it is specifically mentioned to use with micro/mini USB ports, will it work if it connected to type C port for power and USB2.0 signals?

2) Also in DP_HOST and DM_HOST pins can we connect USB device data lines, because in my application board will act as a device always and it should to connected to a host through the USB connector. In this case DP_CON and DM_CON will be the host. Kindly provide your thought on this.

    Hello:

    1; BQ24392 can be used for type-C port too, but it only for charge detect  and for USB2 signals with SDP and CDP

    2: for USBC, charger can be host or DFP. DP_host/DM_host need to connect to device data line.
