Hi TI team ,

Connected DS160PT801's  SMBus to our SOC and wanted to bring up the DS160PT801.Below are few questions.

1.How to Generate EEPROM config file for DS160PT801?

2.Can we program EEPROM from our SOC through SMBus?

    Hi Prashanth,

    1. The DS160PT801 SigCon Architect profile's EEPROM page can be used to create EEPROM HEX images as desired. This profile is available in the DS160PT801 secure folder on your secure resources tab on TI.COM. Example EEPROM files are also available on this folder.
    2. The EEPROM connectivity to the DS160PT801 is through the EE_CLK and EE_DAT pins of the DS160PT801. So, to program the EEPROM from the SoC through SMBus, you can write to SMB_DAT/SMB_CLK pins of the DS160PT801. Please see data sheet section 8.3.2.3 regarding this as well.
