TPD4E001: TPD4E001DRLR

Part Number: TPD4E001

Hi Texas Instrument team,

We noticed that this MPN: TPD4E001DRLR DRL Packaging is not match with footprint in CAD. You may refer to attachment.

**The IC if based on the datesheet is small than pad.

  • Hi Pei Shan,

TPD4E001 comes in many available packages, as shown in page 4 of the datasheet. It appears as if the pad is for the DBVR package, and the package you are using is the DRLR. If you place the TPD4E001DBVR package into the schematic, the footprint will match.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

    Best Regards,

    Josh Prushing

  • Hi Josh,

Yes, the part we bought correct but wrong from PCB design.

Please help to advise on this.

  • Hi Peu Shan,

I would just like to confirm that I am understanding your predicament. You have designed a PCB for a system using the TPD4E001DBVR layout, but you have purchased TPD4E001DRLR. If I am understanding correctly, the two options are to either change the PCB layout or use the DBVR package devices. For your schematic, how did you import the TPD4E001 device? In addition, is there a reason you prefer the DRL package over the DBV package?
