I want to connect monitor from desktop on displayport to USB Ctype sink monitor.

My understanding, TUSB1046EVM can do below.

PC GPU - DP connector(additionally connect USB port.) - TUSB1046EVM - USB C type - monitor.

My question is here.

1. my understanding above is right?

2. support resolution is depend on my Graphic card ?

3. I want to connect dual 4k monitor using 2 of TUSB1046EVM. is there any concern about this?

Yes, you can also use TUSB1146

Yes, TUSB1046 can support max data rate of 8.1Gbps. You can use this link to covert from resolution to bandwidth, tomverbeure.github.io/video_timings_calculator.
