Yes, it is the only way to transmit a WUP with TC10 on our device over MDI. Are you looking for a different way to transmit it?

One PHY must be configured for slave and one PHY must be configured as master for link to be established. Which PHY is slave and which PHY is master should not matter for TC10.

Active link is when two connected PHYs have established that they are able to communicate with each other via the MDI interface (as defined by the standard 100Base-T1). This is indicated by the link register 0x1 or link LED.

    Q: So during active link, both PHYs have already woke up. Am I right? If so, why it's called "Wake UP Request"? How to use the WUR?
