Hello：

The SN65dsi86 adapter chip has a timing requirement, which requires flashing a black frame before the LCD screen lights up and a black frame before the sleep screen goes out,
Namely, adding a black frame during sleep and wake-up. How can I achieve this through TI's adapter chip?
This is required by the specifications on this side of the screen, similar to clearing the signal

    Hey Jimmy, 

    Can you send the full datasheet for the panel? I believe the back screen is saying that the screen is off, as it also says black screen after HPS is not detected as well. I interpret this as there will be a delay after HPD is detected for the screen to display the video from source.

    The SN65DSi86 is unable to output anything by itself as its is a simple bridge chip. You will need to configure this at the DSI source.
