Some is sink and some is source. 

BTW, can this MUX left open ?

   MUX can left open if the channel is not used.

    DP can be either source application or sink application, but can't not be both source and sink in the same application. 

    Can you also explain LSX signal ?

LSX is from USB PD. 

I assigned the ticket to PD controller group to see if ac cap is needed for LSX.

here is the updated design:

we used this for source application. 

for LSX side, we have 0ohm resistor stuffing at level shifter side. 

for pin 7 &8, it is either from AUX or HDMI_DDC signals.
