TPD4S311: CC short to GND

Hi,

Does TPD4S311 seem no CC short to GND protection, our customer found in CC short to GND test may cause TPD4S311 damaged.

Does there have CC protection IC for CC short to GND protection?

Hi,

We found TPD6S300A short to GND test is pass, but we don't found any CC short to GND protect description on TPD6S300A datasheet.

May I know what may cause this different. Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

Can you elaborate how is the short to GND test performed? Is it a direct short to GND or were there any resistance in between? What was the CC voltage measured at when shorted to GND and do you have analog waveform of the testing done?
