[FAQ] TCAN1044A-Q1: CAN, LIN, and SBC EMC and Compliance Reports

Part Number: TCAN1044A-Q1

Tool/software:

For our Automotive transceivers in the CAN and LIN family, customers frequently need to see the protocol compliance certificates, as well as the global EMC standard reports. Because of this, we have placed all of these documents on our Seismic page for easy access.

In order to find these documents, you will first need to go to the Transceiver Interface Overview (INT-TRX) page on Seismic. This is located at All TI Content / All content / All Content / INT-TRX. From here, navigate to the Automotive EMC Reports folder within the Other Resources section:

Once this file is opened, the titles of each specific report are listed. You can then take the title of the report listed in this document, search for it within the INT-TRX seismic page, and have access to download the specific document.

Within the Automotive EMC Report Directory, there are separate tabs for CAN, LIN, and SBC devices. Once you navigate to the correct tab, there are separate columns for the Device/Family Name, the OPN tested, the EMC report, and the Compliance report title. Once the title of the report is located, please use this report name in the search function within the INT-TRX page to locate the correct report.

Some of the EMC and Compliance can be confusing to keep track, so to help, we've consolidated the different specifications and their corresponding reports below:

CAN EMC and Compliance Reports

SBC EMC and Compliance Reports

For all LIN SBCs, follow the same instructions for LIN transceivers. For all CAN SBCs, follow the same instructions for CAN transceivers.

Note that Seismic can only be accessed by TI Employees, so for any customers that need access to these documents, please reach out to your Field Sales representatives from Texas Instruments, and they can help locate the documents needed.
