I want to design an LVDS to TTL interface board for small LCD’s (4.3 – 5.7”) range. I am having trouble finding an IC to handle this. TI Flatlink SN65LVDS308 is close but it only has 2 serial receivers, voltage is 1.8 but a level shifter could handle that. I don’t think 2 chips would be an option due to the clock pair impedance supplying both chips. Would you be able to recommend another option to achieve this translation?
Specs:
LCD clock: 5 – 30MHz
Voltage level: 3.3V
LVDS input Channels: 4
Parallel outputs: 27
Thanks,
Adam
Hi Adam,
The DS90CF384 or DS90CF384A might be reasonable matches to your requirements. However, the minimum pixel clock for these is going to be 20MHz.

Ryan
Adam, we're developing a new device that meets these requirements. Let's get in touch over email; please email me at reisenbeis <at> ti.com
