I've some trouble using a TUSB2046B on my board. I'm using the circuit shown in the datasheet of the TUSB2046B, figure 11 (bus-powered hub, ganged-port power management). Actually, I'm working with Windows 7. After connecting the device, window pops up - "unknown device". The device manager indicates an error "code 43". I've already searched the web and there are a lot of problems using usb devices and this error code, i am using tps2460 instead of tps 2041.Is it possible to switch with this 5v power switch Ic? does the circuit work without tps2041?

Hello Riyas,

The problem seems to be related with the reset signal, it must be asserted at power up. here you go an example of the reset implementation:

Thanks for your reply..I already connected the reset circuit same as you mentioned here without the switch.the problem still exists.Now am trying with a new board

I am stuck with this USB hub..Don't know what is happening .Still the same error unknown device.There is no missing connection in the circuit.Its for only single USB out.Am attaching my schematic here.please reply.Its very urgent.
