Hi,

Please let me know whether the following points for SN65HVD01 IBIS model are correct.

Regarding the definition of [Ramp], AB_hs's [Ramp] are smaller than AB_ls's. Is this correct ?

Hello Kato-san,

The slew rate should actually be faster for the "high speed" operation and slower for the "low speed" operation. So, it seems to me that there is some problem with the model. I've contacted our modeling team to see if they can provide any insights. I'll update you once I hear back from them.

Kato-san,

The original model did not correctly handle the slew rate control feature. The modeling team has generated a new, more accurate model to replace the existing one. I have checked over it, and can confirm the problem is fixed. It will take a few days for the model to be released on our website, and I will again update this post once the new model is available.

Kato-san,

The updated IBIS model should now be available in the HVD01 product folder:

www.ti.com/.../SN65HVD01

I found that the new IBIS model isn't changed Rev. why don't you change the IBIS Rev ?

Kato-san,

Yes, I agree that it is confusing that the revision number and date are the same as on the old model. I had to go check the data in the model to verify that it was updated. I'm not sure why the team did not update this. Let me know if you think this will be a problem for your customer - if so, I will contact the modeling team again and ask them to fix it (I'm not able to directly edit the model myself).
