Hi,

I am using the TRS3221 in a UART application (PC -> DB9 -> TRS3221). The logic level for my device is 2.5V (3.3V input tolerant) therefore I am using a level shifter, SN74AUP1T50, only on DIN.

My question is, do I need a pull up on DIN?

Secondly, I noticed that the TRS3221 inverts the input before putting it on the output. Is that typical UART operation?
