FPC401: Does the enable pin (EN) cause I2C registers to be reset and downstream I2C communications to be interrupted?

If the EN pin is set from high (1) to low (0), will FPC401’s internal registers be reset or not? Also will the I2C communication (if on-going) between optical modules and FPC401 be interrupted or not?

Setting EN=0 does in fact reset the FPC401 internal registers. All I2C communications, host-side and port-side, will be interrupted as well until EN=1.
