FPC401: How to reset SFP+ /QSFP*

Hi,

Our customer is considering FPC401. Then, if the SFP+/QSFP+ is stuck during I2C communications, is there any way to reset the SFP+/QSFP+?

Hi Toshiyuki-san,

The FPC401 can send an I2C reset sequence to the SFP/QSFP port. This is accomplished by setting the P<#>_RST_SEQ_EN bit in Register Reg_0x95. Setting this bit to '1' for the appropriate port will initiate the I2C reset sequence, after which this bit will automatically be cleared.
