For the DS25BR150:

What happens when both inputs are tied to ground?

What about when one is tied to ground and the other is floating?

What about if neither inputs are used, how should they be tied?

Hi Mark,

I do not recommend to tie both inputs to GND. This will make the device output state unstable promoting oscillation.

I also do not recommend GND with the other input floating. The internal 100 Ohm resistive termination will allow both the +/- inputs to have roughly the same voltage level. With little or no voltage difference on the input, the device output will be unstable.

If the inputs are unused, I recommend to tie one input side to GND. Tie the other input to VDD through a 2.2K resistor. This will allow enough voltage difference for a very stable output state.
