We are using DS90UB940 deserialiser with DS90UB921 serialiser in coax mode which according to SNLU205 user guide is a valid combination however the DS90UB940 datasheet seems to imply that it is not. We are having issues of vertical tearing in the video could this be due to an incompatibility problem between the parts? Should we be setting the back channel frequency to 5Mb/s for the DS90UB940 as mentioned for the DS90UB925 part compatibility? The DS90UB921 datasheet says that it is only capable of 3.1Mb/s in coax mode would this imply an incompatibility with the DSUB940 part?
The tearing happens infrequently and seems to be related somehow to powering up and down. If video is streamed continuously it seems to be stable over a long period of time. Could this be a back channel communication issue related to DC balance not happening properly between the two parts?
