Can we connect External EEPROM (EDID) at SDA(14pin) and SCL(15pin)?

EVM user guide says, External EEPROM (EDID) connect DDC_SDA(44pin) and DDC_SCL(45pin).

Our use case is HDMI Jackbox.
EDID is provided by DS90UH929 that uses External local EDID (EEPROM) mode.

Nao,

Connecting the EDID to the SDA and SCL pins are not recommended since the EDID needs to be pulled up to the RX_5V HDMI Detect Input, while the SDA and SCL pins MUST have an external pullup to either 1.8 or 3.3V.
