Hi Team,

I know that the USB PD Source Controller is all NRND.

(TPS25740,TPS25740A,TPS25741,TPS25741A,TPS25740B)

I think that these products are not so old. Why did it become NRND?

I would like to know the reason.

Guessing that it is due to the lack of PD 3.0 compliance for the NRND devices. Current spec is PD 3.0.

Hi Kenji,

Kumar is correct, if your application requires PD 2.0, then you can use the TPS25740B; however, this IC would probably not pass the latest PD3.0 (since the standard is continuously evolving).
