Hello,

I'm looking for a chip to convert the 8-bit parallel output from the ADC08100 flash ADC into a form that can be sent to a fiber optic transmitter (specifically the AFBR-59F3Z transceiver from Avago Technologies). The clock rate is 100 MHz. Ideally this chip would handle the 8b/10b encoding internally and would be functionally similar to the SCAN25100 or the TLK2201B. Another option would be an 8-bit version of the TLK1501.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have an 8-bit version of these devices. Have you considered adding dummy data on the remaining bits and discard them at the receiver?
