Hi team,

Our customer is referring the EVM circuit, and they have a question with using the capacitor.

From the DS90UB96XEVM User's Guide , C84 is using 240pF on the EVM. Is there any concerned that change into 270pF, MLCC?

May I know what's the C84 for? noise filtering ? and how to calculate this value?

Hello Oliver,

Actually this design is slightly old and after reviewing it, the better suggestion would be to depopulate C84, R78, and change R74 to 49.9 ohms. This would be closer to the recommendation of the datasheet which is given in Table 15 and figure 40.

1. May I know does this change apply to camera 2/3/4, (R79,86,87 & C85,98,99)?

2. Is there any revision coming out in the future?

Hello Oliver,

The change applies the same for all RX ports.

Moving forward we will most likely use the 960 EVM as a variant for 964.
