DS90UH928Q-Q1: BISTC and OSC Clock source register

Hi team,

I have 2 questions about DS90UH928's BIST setting.

1. It is not clearly described in the datasheet pin description section about how to set BISTC.

while DS90UH940N datasheet specified as below.

0 : PCLK

1 : 33MHz

Is that OK to refer to UH940 datasheet description for UH928 BISTC setting?

2. UH928 BIST Control register(0x24) OSC Clock source describes as below.

00 : 33MHz Oscillator default

01 : 33MHz Oscillator

While UH940 datasheet describes as below

00 : External Pixel Clock

01 : Internal Pixel Clock

1x : Internal Pixel Clock

Is UH928 description typo?

To set the BIST clock source to the external PCLK set register OSC Clock Source to 00 .

Hi Michael,

Do you mean that the OSC Clock source register in UH928 are below?

00 : External Pixel Clock

01 : Internal Pixel Clock

1x : Internal Pixel Clock

For question 2:

Hi Shinji,

if BISTC is 3.3V the internal clock will be used for BIST, If BISTC is 0v then the external PCLK will be used BIST.
