TPS65988DJ: not loading firmware for TPS65982BB

We use the Tapex Creek Ti88DJ in the development of the Thunderbolt Device.
TPS65988DJ does not load firmware to TPS65982BB via I2C.
What could be wrong?

Hi,

Could you confirm the following?

Are you using the default design?
Are you selecting Yes for "Are you using the TPS65982BB as an external billboard?
Are you saving off the binary with the billboard binary?

--We use Tapex Creek default design ,but dont have Port E(Type-A USB)

Are you selecting Yes for "Are you using the TPS65982BB as an external billboard?

Can you please attach the binary/project you are using? If you are using the Default project you would not run into this issue. Does the schematic follow the reference design, in terms of the connections between the TPS65988DJ and the TPS65982BB?
