TUSB564RNQEVM: FLIP doesn't work without using J1.

Part Number: TUSB564RNQEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB564

Hi Team,

 I'm trying to evaluate TUSB564RNQEVM.

I looked at the "Doesn't Work in Specific Flip Configuration" forum.

So I checked to see if FLIP would work without using J1 (J1 is open).

Even if I don't use J1, FLIP doesn't work.

When  type-C cable is connected by up-side, no image is displayed on the display monitor.

if type-C cable is connected by down-side, the image is output.

The following are the results of checking J1(2pin)  voltage.

> type-C cable up-side    -----   J1(2pin)  voltage is  0V.

> type-C cable down-side ----  J1(2pin) voltage is 3.3V.

I have confirmed that type-C orientation is handled automatically.

But,  No image output to the monitor when Type C is up-side.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

or is TUSB564RNQEVM broken?

best regards.
