Hi,
What information are you looking for regarding the SN75DP128A?
Thanks
David
do TI have a schematic how to connect the SN75dp128A?
do i need serial 100nf capacitors on input and output?
Thanks

We do not have a reference schematic for DP128, but I can review your schematic.
Both input and output require to be AC coupled. If you are connecting to a DP connector on the input side, the AC coupling caps may already be present at the DP source transmitter, then you do not need the AC coupling caps.
Instead the DP128, have you take a look at the HD3SS213 or HD3SS214?
Thanks
David
Hi,
AUX needs to be AC coupled on both the source and the sink side. For the source, a 100k pullup to 3.3V on AUXN and 100k pulldown is required. For the sink, a 1M pulldown on AUXN and a 1M pullup to 3.3V on AUXP is required.
Thanks
David
Hello David,
attached our schematics see on page 22.
the 2 output ports are connected to panel connectors.
please check and advice the correct implementation.smart bb mk2 20489272600_15_12.pdf
Hi,
1. When LP is low, the device is forced into a Low Power state. Please pull LP high to VDD through a 4.7k resistor.
2. It looks like the 100k pullup on AUXN and 100k pulldown on AUXP are missing, please double check.
3. Recommend having a 100k pulldown on DDI1_HPD
I am a little concerned that the DDI source is going to drive across both the DP128 and HD3SS215, can the source TX drive the total loss of the DP128, the HD3SS215 and PCB trace?
Thanks
David
