DP83822I: Link Problems at 100Base-TX or Autonegitiation

Part Number: DP83822I

Hi,

we are using a DP83822I with a ST Controller. When we set the PHY to 10Base-Tx there are no Problems and we can use a TCP server loop back example from ST.

When we select 100Base-Tx or Autonegaotiation the PHY can not get a stable link to the ethernet switch. The link cycles with up time for about 500ms and down time for about 1s.

When we take a look at the registers 0x10 the bit 1 (speed status) changes from 0 to 1 and back. With automdix we get the following Register entries:

Here is the schematic of the DP83822I interface:

We have done some measurement of the signals between the eternet inductor and the PHY showing a link puls, communication in autonegatiation mode and a autonegotiation paket:

Has someone the same problems with the PHY?

Regards Mario
