DP83849I: differential signal input level

Hi Team,

I have a question about DP83849I differential input level.

My customer want to know what voltage is high level/low level input and in the datasheet, there are voltage related with input voltage.
VIH/VIL and SDTHon/SDTHoff.

My understanding is we have to follow VIH/VIL spec but is my understanding correct?

If yes, the VIH/VIL is GND refered voltage?

Hello Kai,

You are correct, input high voltage corresponds to the VIH parameter in the datasheet and input low voltage corresponds to VIL. VIH/VIL need to be within the specification of the datasheet for the device to work properly. Both are in reference to ground.
