Hello,

We need to do both Up Translation/Down Translation for signal that is clocked at 50MHz from 1V to 3.3V/3.3V to 1V. We have strict propagation delay to achieve. We have been looking at the part LSF0101 but the datasheet doesn't talk about max propagation delay. How can we make an estimate?

Please let me know if you need any other help.

The LSF is a passive switch. See [FAQ] How do I Approximate Propagation Delay and Channel to Channel Skew in an Analog Switch/Multiplexer?

Hey Raj,

For a clock signal it may be better to use a buffered device like the SN74AXC1T45 which has a max Tpd specified.

Thanks for the reply Clemens and Dylan.

I will look at the link and we should be able to figure out the capacitive load on the system.

SN74AXC1T45 has max delays that are quite high, we need <5ns max delays.

Hey Raj,

The two devices mentioned in this thread are the only two devices we have to support these specific requirements. LSF being a passive switch will have lower prop delay.
