Hi Team，

Could you tell me why the pin numbers and functions defined by the chip are different from those of the recommended layout？

I guess the layout example was simply copied from the SN74HCS244. But whether a pin is input or output does not really make a difference for the layout.

Hi Depeng,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is a mistake, I'll have this issue fixed in our next datasheet update. As Clemens stated the layout would remain the same just make sure to terminate unused inputs to GND or Vcc.
