SN74LVCC3245A: Dynamic Parameters and Latch-up Current

Part Number: SN74LVCC3245A

Hi Team,

A couple of our customer's questions about the SN74LVCC3245A:

1. Section 4.10 of the the app note szza036c shows dynamic parameters such as the following:

- Quiet output maximum/minimum
- Dynamic level from both the ports
- Min/Max high/low level dynamic level from both the ports

Do we have these parameters available for SN74LVCC3245A?

2. What can be the maximum latch up current and at what test conditions? The datasheet shows latch up current exceeds 250mA, can you help us clarify this with our customer?

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hey Jejomar,

In regards to the quiet output maximum/minimum, it is generally dependent on each application, which is why you don't see this spec on the datasheet. For the dynamic levels (VIL/VOL and VIH/VOH) specs, it is listed in pages 5~6 of the datasheet.

    2. What can be the maximum latch up current and at what test conditions? The datasheet shows latch up current exceeds 250mA, can you help us clarify this with our customer?

The latch up performance spec is a standard test defined by JESD17 (JESD78 now replaces it for newer parts). In short, current is injected into the pins by an external voltage source without latch-up. Here is an attached app note for more reference.
