Hi Team,

The Query is regarding TXB0104QRUTRQ1 Voltage Level translator ,

From datasheet VCCA<=VCCB (VCCA should not exceed VCCB)

Below Mentioning our design requirements,

VCCA (A-port supply voltage) = 1.8V
VCCB(B-port supply voltage) = 3.3V
(Output Enable(Pin12) will be active always)

In sleep mode VCCA supply will be Present and VCCB supply will be absent, which is violating above requirement from datasheet.

What will be the impact of VCCA>=VCCB in this case

There is a diode from VCCA to VCCB. A current might flow out of VCCB and (partially) power up anything connected to it.

Consider using the TXU0104-Q1/TXU0204-Q1/TXU0304-Q1 instead.

Hey Srijesh,

To echo Clemens' feedback, during operation when VCCA> VCCB, there will be a leakage flowing out of VCCB due to the internal diode (it won't damage the TXB device, but could potentially damage nearby devices connected to it). The device will only be damaged under the system design conditions that VCCA is ALWAYS less than VCCB.

As for the input/ output channels, they will be OK as the leakage is shown in the IOFF parameter.
