Hi, I would like to check if the following information is available for SN74LVC3G17DCUR (https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/SN74LVC3G17):

Junction-to-Board (Theta_JB) thermal resistance:

Junction-to-Case Bottom (Theta_JC, Bottom) thermal resistance:

Junction-to-Case Top (Theta_JC, Top) thermal resistance:

Junction-to-Ambient thermal resistance:

Absolute Maximum Operating Junction Temperature:

I am aware that there is a similar discussion thread (https://e2e.ti.com/support/logic-group/logic/f/logic-forum/917774/sn74lvc3g17-r-jc-junction-to-case-thermal-resistance-specification?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=SN74LVC3G17DCUR#) but the Theta_JA value does not seem to sync up with the one in the datasheet (213.5°C/W vs 227°C/W). Hence, I would like to confirm the values for the parameters above.

Hi Benedict,

There will be variation in each testing as it cannot be the same through every single device (when requested for the full thermals, we have to submit a ticket and the respective team will perform the required tests).

To me it seems the difference is within a reasonable range that it can go down to just being tested on different devices.

Thanks for your prompt clarification.

I see, noted that there will be variaitons from the tests. In this case, can I check in on the values for the below parameters? These are not available in the other thread.

Hi Benedict,

JC,bot is generally going to be N/A as this is only valid for packages with a thermal pad.

For absolute max of Tjunction will be the max of the storage temp. See below FAQ:
