Hello team,

Is data rate going to change with the translate voltage for SN74AXCH4T245?
I want to translate voltage to 1.2V from 3.3V. So the datarate would keep 380Mbps or drop to 100Mbps like SN74AVCH4T245 below?

The datasheet of SN74AVCH4T245 states that when translating to 1.2V, the data rate slow down to 100Mbps.

  • AXC is designed to better support lower voltages, so I'd expect it to be faster than AVC.

    But the datasheet does not tell you the specific data rate; you have to estimate it from the propagation delay (1 / 7 ns ≈ 142 Mbps; this is a safe, lower estimate).
