PRUCAPE: Requirement of circuit to control AC voltage amplitude through microcontroller

Part Number: PRUCAPE

Hello TI team,

I have AC voltage source of 10V/400Hz. I want to control it's amplitude with the help of controller.

How can I do this?

Thanks & Regards,

Prakash

  • Hello Prakash,

You are asking a design question that is too broad for us to help you with on the forums.

If you have a specific question about a specific TI part, then we can help you.

For example, let's say you were using the AM335x, and you have a separate transformer that does the amplitude conversion, and the separate transformer was controlled by a 3.3V input signal, and you knew you wanted to control the transformer using a GPIO signal controlled by Linux running on the AM335x.

If you were having trouble getting your AM335x GPIO signal working the way you wanted, then we could help you with that specific question.

Feel free to reply back, or create a new thread, if you have a question that we can help with.

    Regards,

    Nick
