SN74AXC8T245: RGMII Voltage Level Translator

Part Number: SN74AXC8T245
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AVC8T245, DP83TG720R-Q1, TXV0106-Q1, TXV0106

Hi,

I am using DP83TG720R-Q1 1000BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet PHY. This will be connected to ZU-7 SoC from AMD. The I/O voltage supported by SoC is 1.2V. So, planning to use a voltage level translator from 1.2V to 1.8V. I have gone through the application notes(SCEA109A) on this and found that SN74AVC8T245 would be suitable. Since the VLT datarate depends on the voltage, is it advised to use SN74AVC8T245 for 250Mbps datarate, when converting from 1.2V to 1.8V?

Or do I need to go with TXV0106-Q1? ( I see the VCCA and VCCB levels are from 1.65V to 3.3V)!!

Regards,

Sneha
