Hello Team, 

i have a query . We are using this SN74LVC1G175 to control a MOSFET. 

The output of the SN74LVC1G175 is given to a gate of a MOSFET as shown in the below figure. 

Query here is to turn on the MOSFET and to latch the output of the flip flop , it should be sufficient if we give a rising edge signal on the CLK right ? I mean to change the state of the flip flop, a rising edge is sufficient , there is no need of a signal which is of a PWM type right ?
