An engineer that I am working with had a question on the SN74LVCH8T245 pulse rise and fall time requirement. In our datasheet, we specify a min of 1.5ns and a max of 21.4ns for a 1.8V supply, which is a rather large range.
Do we have any collateral or guidelines on how to determine where the expected rise/fall time will fall within that range? Also, how does the load, voltage and ambient temperature impact the expected pulse rise/fall time?
We've already looked at the expected VIH and VIL thresholds for a 1.8V supply, and crossed that with the input transition rise/fall time of 20ns/V @ 1.8V, but again wanted to see if we can get a more granular rise/fall time.
