Ultrasonic microscopy result:

We engaged an external lab to look at the defective components.
Result: Ultrasonic microscopy revealed delamination.
 
Red color arrow – delamination
Leadframe (Abb.9) and paddle (Abb.10)
Measurement:
 
All measurements were made with the following equipment:
 
·        R&S HMP2020 Powersupply (940-0878-006)
·        R&S RTB2004 Oscilloscope (940-1139-001)
 
 
Above picture shows a measurement of IC35, with the following signals:
            Yellow: trigger signal
            Green: IC35_Pin3 (output)
            Orange: IC35_Pin2 (input)
            Blue: IC35_Pin1 (input)
Since this IC is an AND-gate the output should switch to zero after Pin2 changed to zero, which it doesn’t do.
 End customer try to file a FA request but the PIC ask me to search for advice from E2E to confirm. 
Please advice.
