Please let me check about SN74LV21A below.

Is SN74LV21A CMOS logic?

I think that SN74LV series is CMOS, but TI web spec written in TTL on Input type and output type.

※I want to check that Output pullup is necessary or not.

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • The LV-A family indeed is CMOS. "TTL" would just mean that the signal levels would be compatible with TTL devices.

However, according to the datasheet, the signal levels are not TTL compatible. Apparently, lots of LV-A devices are marked wrong in TI's database.

  • Thank you Clemens for your response .
I agree . Some of the product folder contents need updated to indicate the correct behavior of the devices . I will put in a request to get this updated . If there are other typos in the product folder please point them out . We are striving to keep up the content valid and relevant .
